Fiber friends are the best people, truly! I was fortunate enough to get to spend some time with another raw fiber enthusiast this past weekend. We had the most fun sorting through a raw fleece she brought with her. I washed up a batch, dried it overnight and combed up some for her to spin. I also kept a small brown section to wash, comb and spin for her. We encourage, motivate and support each other!

Loved your videos on Valkyrie hand combs and hackle. And, since I recently acquired 10 Alpaca fleeces, I took the plunge and bought both the combs and hackle – they will arrive this week.
I’m hoping you might share a few additional pics of your combing table? I see you drilled holes in the hackle ends too . Any information about setup and stabilization would be so helpful.
